Patrick Baldwin Jr. impressed the warriors after overcoming an ankle injury.

Even though Patrick Baldwin Jr. is fully recovering from an ankle ailment, Warriors staff members are already impressed.

To C.J. Holmes of the San Francisco Chronicle, a Warriors staff member remarked, "I've been astonished by what I've seen in an exciting sense."

Holmes was also told by another employee that Baldwin is "an amazing potential."

Baldwin was selected by Golden State as the No. 28 overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft, which may be a factor in certain Warriors staff members' excitement and admiration for him. Baldwin has also performed well in individual sessions.

Baldwin's high IQ and game sense shouldn't come as a surprise given that his journey to the NBA began when he was only 4 years old.

The staff members also praised Baldwin for his assurance and professionalism throughout the procedure.

Baldwin still has a ways to go before getting to where Golden State wants him, but the Warriors believe he can develop into a terrific player in Steve Kerr's system.

That being said, it should please supporters to see Baldwin winning over numerous Warriors staffers.

Baldwin first had an ankle injury when he was a Wisconsin high school senior, and further lower leg problems limited him to just 11 games as a freshman at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
